Why the shirts called aloha?

Posted by Dave Heifetz on

Aloha shirts were first advertised by Musa-shiya the shirt maker. He placed the first advertisement using the term "aloha shirts" in 1935 in the Honolulu-Advertiser on June 28. So basically Musa-shiya created this hashtag ( in today's world)  to sell his Hawaiian print shirts. This became a popular hashtag to sell and advertise products from Hawaii later on.
